NATIONAL HOMELAND SECURITY CONFERENCE & EXPO

The Leading Scientific Conference Addressing All Aspects
Of Homeland Security Technology, Policy and Procedures

February 25-26, 2004
The Hilton at the Walt Disney World Resort
Lake Buena Vista, Florida

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:
THIS IS A CONFERENCE FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE, to help them understand the technical and regulatory aspects of Homeland Security; to assess undue risk to their well being and their organizations; and to prepare all individuals against any natural or man-made disaster.

Events of September 11, 2001, and the terrorist threat facing our nation, has forced most of us to re-examine our procedures and practices, and to assess vulnerability points in our immediate surrounding.

The reality is that industrial facilities and businesses need comprehensive Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) to prepare for natural and man-made disasters. This conference will teach you proven strategies. Managers, scientists, government officials and executives from all organizations are invited to attend this Conference and learn how to revise their emergency response procedures so that that they can prepare their organizations for undue risk. Learn the latest developments in Homeland Security Policies and their impact on your operations and understand your requirements for planning and reporting emergency response.

CONFERENCE TOPICS:
We have a great program planned for you. We have over 40 technical papers selected for publication in the Conference Proceedings.  The Conference will focus primarily on the following topics:

  • Aviation and Transportation Security Act
  • Bio-terrorism Preparedness
  • Cyber-security
  • Emergency Planning and Management
  • Emergency Response to Terrorism
  • Homeland Security Statutes
  • Managing Hazardous Materials

The conference agenda will aim at gathering scientific and factual information and to have original research results and the latest technology being presented.

The goal for the conference is to bring together 300-600 scientists, engineers, managers, executives and academicians, and to create a forum for exchange of information on technical and scientific aspects of Homeland Security Preparedness.
