Events of September 11, 2001, and the terrorist threat facing our nation, has forced most of us to re-examine our procedures and practices, and to assess vulnerability points in our immediate surrounding.

The Homeland Security Training Organization will host its annual Homeland Security Conference on February 25-26, 2004, at the Hilton at the WDW Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This Conference has been developed with the contributions and volunteer efforts from the from the industry and academia. The Conference is aimed specifically at engineers, managers, executives, and scientists from industry and the federal, state and local government organizations.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:
The goal for the conference is to bring together 300-600 scientists, engineers, managers, executives and academicians, and to create a forum for exchange of information on technical aspects of Homeland Security Preparedness.

ATTENDEE PROFILE:
The Conference agenda will be designed to attract an elite group of researchers from around the world, and technical or managerial professionals from government, industry, and academia, who are either conducting scientific research on Homeland Security issues or involved in operations, policy and procurement issues. The aim of the Conference is to have original research results and the latest technology being presented.

The Homeland Security Conference is being organized primarily by the Homeland Security Training Organization, a nonprofit, educational organization.
